Chryssy Tintner
Chryssy is an Australian Writer for screen and stage, a member of the AWG and the third generation in a family of creators and entertainers.
She is currently attached to direct two feature films. The first is international coproduction Songs of the Walking People by Ciorstadh (Teni) Burns, with producers Max Brady of Maxfilm, Dublin Ireland and Jay Mohnen of Studio Black Bird, Munich Germany. The second is her own action screenplay Copperhead, for Los Angeles producer Andrea Smith. Chryssy has developed feature film Blue Rose with Judi Levine and director Ben Lewin for sales agent Arclight.
She has previously worked in the USA, Ireland and Australia, directing her award-winning festival hit short Petrushka distributed by Tigris films, live performance including cabaret The Seven Deadly Sins (Brecht/ Weill), funded by the New York based Lotte Lenya Foundation and Phaedra (Seneca) at the Sydney Opera House. Chryssy has developed scripts for Lunar Pictures, Such Much Films, Maddfilms, the ACME Film Company, Wild Goat Pictures, Entertainment Brewery, Script Central, Thompson Street Pictures, Fox 2000, Fastnet Films, Ocean Films, Metropolitan, Octagon Films and World 2000 at Ardmore Studios. Chryssy trained in Performance Studies at the University of Sydney and has a Masters of Fine Arts from the School of Cinematic Studies at the University of Southern California.
